Art & Soup 2009 a Benefit

A collection of 24 photographs featuring Nebraska and rural objects and landscapes received a Winners Circle Award in a juried artists’ competition at the 2009 Art+Soup in Omaha on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009.
David Frye’s work, along with 59 other area artists, appeared at the annual fund-raising event.

Join us at the tastiest fundraiser in town–Visiting Nurse Association’s 12th annual Art & Soup, where 60 artists and 25 restaurants come together to help VNA provide public health nursing services to children and adults living in Omaha and Council Bluffs homeless shelters. The finest soups are created for this event along with every type of art imaginable to buy.
The Patron Party from 1 to 2 p.m. will feature hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and the first opportunity to buy-it-now on the silent auction and meet artists one-on-one.
